NYC, Day 3

Today I shopped. A lot. Without a small blonde and his trail of destruction. And I ate - food in the SoHo, Nolita and NoHo area gets a thumbs-up from this Melbournian. I tried to eat here, but queueing alone didn't blow my skirt. Fortunately service was a little snappier here and I followed it up with a Gimme coffee . And another 12-oz-skim-latte-with-an-extra-shot here in the pm. I finally made it to Purl and indulged my crafty passion by purchasing more sewing books and fabric I'm unlikely to get to until post-Olympics. Oh well, they're nice to look at.

I headed back to my hotel in Koreatown and grabbed dinner at a little place next door. Since arriving I've been captivated by the ladies who stand in the window and prepare dumplings - quite the fresh food advertisement.

Then one final jaunt around the corner to Macy's..
