It's like coming home....

Noisy, smelly, constant honking. Crazies at every corner, shouting from their soap box. Pushing and shoving on the subway, everyone walking with purpose - hurry hurry hurry. And big, so very very big - people everywhere, some meandering and soaking up the sights, others secretly proud that this is THEIR city and they are what makes it great.

New York New York. I love it after less than a day and don't want to leave. It's brought back a flood of memories from my years in London and I remembered with great fondness that grimy grumpy city, that to me is just so magnificent. This place, however, gives it a red hot run for it's money. Let's see what day two holds.

Time to get reacquainted with an old friend - I wonder if the North American BLT and lemon tart is as good as Mud Island's?
